Telephone the surgery on 01782 304611 to arrange an appointment on the day.  We have a limited number of book in advance appointments.  You can book via the internet.

We also offer telephone consultations with a doctor, they call you back at an agreed time (certain restrictions apply) and the doctor will talk to you on the telephone. This is NOT in place of a face to face consultation but is used when appropriate.

The doctors and nurses try to keep on time but inevitably some patient’s problems take more time than others. To help the situation and to try to keep to time, we ask that you try to keep the appointment to 10 minutes, please be assured that the doctors will be understanding and flexible if you feel that another problem needs to be addressed on the day.

Please be aware, we will need to speak to the patient if they are over the age of 16. The patient can choose to have a family member accompany them or we will require consent to speak to family members on their behalf.

Evening and Weekend Appointments

Working together with local practices we are able to offer same day and pre-bookable GP evening and weekend appointments.  You will be seen by a GP who will be able to access your medical records.

These appointments are NOT at Werrington Village Surgery but at our GP hubs in local community hospitals.

To book an appointment simply contact Werrington Village Surgery Reception team on 01782 304611

Failing to attend

It is extremely important that you let the practice know if you are unable to attend your appointment so that it can be offered to someone else. The practice policy is to write to patients who have failed to attend their appointments on more than 2 occasions and may ask them to come in to discuss how they can best manage their appointments in the future.

Car Parking

While visiting the practice you are welcome to use the private car park. Please respect the disabled parking space and do not park on the library spaces (they are the single row at the side of the library).  If the bays are full please use the community car park at the back of the village hall. Parking directly in front of the building is prohibited and parking in front of the doors is for ambulances only.
