 COVID 19

Just an update on some of the changes at your GP Practice ….

Please phone 01782 304611 to book a telephone or video appointment. We have 10 phone lines which are very busy...please bear with us.

If you need to be examined, the Doctor or Nurse will ask you to come in. Ring the bell to let us know you are here. If you can, come alone but carers are welcome. The waiting room is limited so we may ask you to wait outside / in your car.

Please wear a face covering when visiting the surgery. A face covering does not need to be a medical mask, it can be a homemade fabric mask or a scarf. Face coverings are not compulsory for children under 11 or anyone who has breathing problems.

Covid-19 Vaccine Update

Just to let you know what is happening locally. We have been working very have with local practices to get up a GP Hub so out team can administer vaccinations safely and efficiently. It is a logistical challenge and updates are coming out daily. We are awaiting out delivery date and will have days notice. Care home patients, the amazing people who work in care homes and over 80's will be first in the group. PLEASE, do not phone the surgery.

Thank you for all your continuing messages of support.

Prescription Requests

We only have 10 phone lines. As most matters are now been dealt with over the phone / video call.... the phone lines are incredibly busy, which we understand must be very frustrating. To free up the phone lines, if you can, please pop your repeat prescription request in the letterbox.

We are contacting patients to get them set up online to order prescriptions. Look out for a text from us which will be followed by a phone call. Due to the sensitivity of the data, we do need to undertake certain checks.

Thank you for your continuing support ... it means a lot to all the team.   It would be great if you could pass on this message to neighbours and friends..
